1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using HorseTracker ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

HorseTracker is a web-based horse management platform that allows users to track work sessions, care routines, feeding schedules, and incidents for their horses. The Service is currently in beta and may change without notice.

3. Accounts

  • You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service.
  • One person may not maintain more than one account.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its related systems.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
  • Upload malicious code or content that could harm the Service or other users.
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without permission.

5. Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you submit to the Service, including horse records, work sessions, care logs, and other content. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your data.

You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

6. Shared Properties

When you join a shared property, other members of that property may view your horses and activity within that property. You are responsible for the data you share. Property owners can manage membership and assign roles.

7. Service Availability

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice, particularly during the beta period.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HorseTracker and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service.

The Service is not a substitute for professional veterinary, equine health, or safety advice. You use information from the Service at your own risk.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
